What happened to Mark Warburton?
Has anyone even seen Mark Warburton anywhere?

I checked the list of Football Personnel on official site and no mention of him under Football Personnel!

All seemed good in June when it was officially announced - https://www.whufc.com/news/west-ham-united-appoint-mark-warburton-first-team-assistant-coach

Something isn't right and it's being kept quiet. An unsettled coaching team could be the reason for below par performances.

Might this background disruption in the coaching team explain some of the weird selections (Flynn Downes) and substitutions as Moyes struggles to assert his authority?

What do you reckon?

Interesting Mr Burns but what about on here where he has been left out -
https://www.whufc.com/club/corporate-information/whos-who

We regularly see Kevin Nolan and Paul Nevin around Moyes but never Warburton. When Moyes was given his suspension Billy McKinlay did all the media interviews.

It's like Where's Wally but Where's Warburton?

Re: What happened to Mark Warburton?
yes, it's Warburton who's picking five at the back & not selecting Downes

Re: What happened to Mark Warburton?
There were rumours that Downes was a Warburton pick and his daughter works for Downes agent iirc.

Might that be why Moyes is reluctant to pick Downes?

I wouldn't care if it was the tea lady who scouted him, he's clear!y the best partner for Rice if the jock is going to persist with just two across the middle. maybe he proves me wrong, shuts me up and picks him to do that job tomorrow. I just don't see him being that adventurous but I hope he does

Weren't you blaming Pearce leaving not so long ago for our poor form?

You've got a bit of a weird fascination with our assistant coaches.

Pretty sure he was on the pitch during the warm up on Thursday night.

I don't know it's all very worrying and they said he was the best thing since sliced bread?

I mean you would think someone would use their loaf to find him?

You would expect they would know which side their breads buttered?

Re: What happened to Mark Warburton?
No Lee I wasn't blaming Pearce at all. It's not a "weird fascination" with coaches but a feeling that in any management structure that goes wrong, it is often to do with changes to the personnel.

Stewart Pearce and Moyes' long term assistant, Alan Irving, both left him for whatever reason. Mark Noble was clearly a motivator in the dressing room so 3 important motivators left Moyes.

Is Moyes weakened by the loss of his long-term assistant and strong motivators like Pearce and Noble is what I feel?

All 3 of them would have made definite decisions on their futures by last Christmas which is the period performances started to tail off. Can Moyes work effectively without the men that helped and advised him through his most successful periods?

Some say they think we were a bit thick to get him, but I reckon we were dead jammy.

Looks like Moyes is a crumpet short of a fully functional coaching team...
